Game six of 48 in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup will see New Zealand taking on the Netherlands. The match will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday. The Kiwis are ranked fifth in the world standings, while the Netherlands are ranked 14th. New Zealand come into this match off the back of an excellent result in their opening match of the competition. They contained England to 282/9 in the first innings and chased down the total with ease, losing just one wicket in the process. Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra both scored centuries, putting on a 273-run third-wicket partnership. Conway holds the highest individual score by any player so far in the tournament. Matt Henry got three wickets with the ball and was well-supported by Mitchell Satner and Glenn Phillips, who picked up two wickets each. New Zealand have never lost to the Netherlands in four previous meetings and are clear favourites in this match. 

Meanwhile, the Netherlands began their competition with an 81-run loss against Pakistan last week. While they were massive underdogs in that match, there were several positives they would have taken, especially in the bowling department. The Flying Dutchmen bowled Pakistan out in the 49th over, with Bas de Leede taking an impressive 4/62 in his nine overs. Colin Ackerman also looked very good, picking up two wickets for just 39 runs in eight overs. De Leede did the business with the bat as well, scoring 67 in just 68 balls, while Vikramjit Singh also chipped in with 52 in 67. The Netherlands have lost four of their last five ODIs, with their only success in that time coming over Scotland during the World Cup qualifiers.
