The final match of the group stages in the 2023 Cricket World Cup will see India taking on the Netherlands on Sunday morning. This match will see the group leaders taking on the side at the bottom of the standings. India have been sensational in the 2023 CWC. The host nation have gone unbeaten up to this point, recording eight wins in a row. The most impressive part is that they have rarely looked troubled in any of those matches. The Men in Blue took on second-placed South Africa in their last match and handed them a thorough walloping, winning the match by a massive 243 runs. That result was the perfect message to send out leading up to the knockout stages. India will be aiming for another big performance here in an attempt to build up a head of steam as they go into their semi-final against either New Zealand or Pakistan on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium. 

While the Netherlands look certain to end the tournament at the bottom of the standings, they can be well proud of their performance in this competition. The Dutch side have shown major progress since the last installment of the CWC and have managed the same total as the likes of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and even the defending champions England. The undoubted highlight of their campaign would have been their victory over the South Africans back in week three. They now face the red-hot Indian side, and while a victory here looks unlikely, they will relish the opportunity of having a free hit at the tournament favourites. The Netherlands have faced this opponent twice in ODIs in the past and lost both fairly convincingly. Unsurprisingly, they are clear outsiders in this one as well.
