That win over the Black Caps in their last match saw them leapfrog their neighbours into third place with a better net run rate of +0.970. David Warner has been the pick of the batsmen for the Aussies in this competition and is currently ranked third in the top run scorers standings with 413 in six innings. With the ball, Adam Zampa has been the key contributor, bagging 16 wickets so far and currently ranked fourth in the tournament. The Baggy Greens have Afghanistan and Bangladesh left to play in their remaining matches, and a win here will almost guarantee them a place in the final four, barring a total collapse in their final two games.
