Hubert Hurkacz vs Ugo Humbert Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Marseille

Frenchman Ugo Humbert attempts on Saturday to reach the Open Provence Final in Marseille. He is the fourth seed in ths tounament but to reach the final Humbert has to beat top seeded Hubert Hurkacz. The winner will then face either second seed Grigor Dimitrov or third seeded Karen Khachanov. Humbert began this indoor hard court tournament ranked 21st. That was only a place below the career high he reached last November. His run to this semi-final has taken him to a new career high of 19th. He’s up to 26th in the Live ATP Race based on ranking points earned in 2024. Humbert is playing only his third tournament of the year. The last 16 was reached in Brisbane but he then withdrew from the tournament. In the Australian Open he won two matches before being beaten by his opponent in this semi-final. This week in Marseille, he had to come from behind to get past qualifier Hugo Gaston in round two. He then beat the fifth seed Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina in straight sets.

Hubert Hurkacz was ranked a career high eigth at the start of this tournament. Winning the final on Sunday would see him rise to seventh overtaking Holger Rune. He's up to sixth in the ATP Live Race and has made an impressive start to the new year. He  got to the final of the United Cup with Poland and then reached the last eight of the Australian Open beating Humbert along the way. This week has seen him get to the last four without dropping a set. He's had straight sets victories over Alexander Shevchenko and Tomas Machac, both of whom were unseeded. The Pole has won all three of his previous matches against Humbert with two being played on hard courts. We go for him to get another win over Humbert.
