Hugo Dellien vs Pedro Cachin Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cordoba

Hugo Dellien had a good week in Concepcion last month and takes on fifth seed Pedro Cachin in the Cordoba Open first round. Waiting in round two will be either Guido Pella or Andrea Vavasoori. Dellien starts this tournament ranked 138th but the Bolivian was in 64th place last August. This year got off to a disappointing start losing to the then world number 191 Enzo Couacaud in the first round of the Australian Open. Back on clay though he reached the last four in the Challenger Tour event held in Chile (where he got to the final last year) before losing in the last four to Federico Coria who went on to win the title. Dellien has won 24 titles on clay on the Challenger and Futures titles, with one tournament won last year. 

Pedro Cachin may be the fifth seed but is not in good form coming into this Cordoba Open. The Argentinian is the current world number 66 but has fallen nine places this year. He's played four events this year and is still waiting to win his first match. Two of his losses have been against top 20 ranked players but it's been a while since Cachin was in good form and there was a long list of defeats by players ranked outside of the top 150, including some not even in the top 300. He did win four Challenger Tour events last year but the last success was in August. There have been five previous meetings between these two players with Cachin 3-2 up. Their only ATP Tour event match was in this tournament three years ago when Cachin won and lost just two games.  Cachin is in the better form and can make it into round two.
