Hubert Hurkacz vs Sebastian Korda Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Shanghai Masters

Sixteenth seed Hubert Hurkacz and 26th seed Sebastian Korda will meet on Saturday in the Shanghai Open semis. Hurkacz is one win away from another Masters 1000 final. The Pole has played in the finals in Miami and Toronto and won the former. He has however lost three Masters semifinals and will hope he doesn’t add to that run here. Hurkacz, who triumphed in Marseille earlier this year, defeated Fabian Marozsan in three sets in the quarterfinals. He had to come from behind to secure his 37th win of the season and 21st on hard courts. Hurkacz, who is playing in his fifth semifinal of the season, has moved up two places to 15th in the live ranking.

Sebastian Korda defeated Hurkacz the last time they met, earlier this year in Melbourne. He won in five sets after coming from a set down and advanced to a Grand Slam quarterfinal for the first time. The American will seek a win to set up another first for his career in Masters tournaments. Korda has never played in the final at a Masters and is preparing for his first-ever semifinal at this level. He defeated compatriot Ben Shelton in three sets to achieve this feat. The 23-year-old also had to come from a set down and battled through two tiebreaks to win. It was his 26th win of the season and moved him up to 23rd in the live ranking which is a new career high. Korda and Hurkacz have played each other twice with each player winning once.
