Hubert Hurkacz vs Pablo Carreño-Busta Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cincinnati Open

Hubert Hurkacz continues his bid to win a second ATP 1000 title of the year. The ninth seed takes on Pablo Carreno Busta (seeded two places above him) in the third round of the Western & Southern Open. Earlier this year, Hurkacz won the Miami Masters beating four top 20 players. Before that the current world number 13 had won a pre-Australian Open tournament held in Melbourne.  More recently, Hurkacz made it to the semi-finals at Wimbledon with wins over Daniil Medvedev and Roger Federer before being beaten by losing finalist Matteo Berrettini. Last week saw him lose in the last eight in Toronto with Medvedev (a likely opponent in the next round of this tournament) getting his revenge. Hurkacz has had wins over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Andy Murray to reach this third round.

Busta is ranked one place above his opponent and has also been won two tournaments this year. He won a clay court tournament in Marbella and also got to the semi-final in Barcelona and a grass court tournament held in Mallorca.  Not all his success has come in Spain as he also won the Hamburg grass court event. Like his opponent, Busta has had a win over Daniil Medvedev who is the top seed in this tournament. His win came in the Tokyo Olympics, where the Spaniard won a bronze medal beating an out-of-sorts Novak Djokovic. This is his first tournament since the Olympics and he's only had one match so far, a straight sets win over Dominic Koepfer. These two players have only had one previous meeting, that was won on clay by Busta but that was six years ago on the Challenger tour. Busta can get the win here, but it may well go to three sets.
