Hubert Hurkacz vs Andy Murray Prediction & Betting Tips - Moselle Open

Andy Murray's comeback is gathering pace and he's through to the last eight of the Metz Open. He has a tough task ahead of him though with a match against top seeded Hubert Hurkacz. It's been a hard road back for Murray but he has shown glimpses of how he used to play before his injuries came along. The third round was reached at Wimbledon and he so nearly beat Stefanos Tsitisipas at the US Open. He's still not in the top 100 but probably playing at the level of a player ranked around 30-40. The first round of this event saw him defeat Ugo Humbert who at 26 in the world is the highest ranked player beaten by Murray since his return to the circuit.  Humbert was the sixth seed and won the first set, so it was a battling performance by Murray. He followed that up with a win over Vasek Pospisil in straight sets. He's had one previous match against Hurkacz and that was in Cincinnati in August. Hurkacz won that in straight sets but had to go a tie-break to win the first.

Hurkacz is the top seed for this event and looking to make it three ATP titles this year. He's had wins in Delray Beach and the Miami Masters. He beat four top 20 ranked players (and one that has since made it into the top 20) to win that prestigious title. Hurkacz didn't build on that win and had a poor clay court season. He bounced back to form on grass at Wimbledon, reaching the semi-finals and beating Roger Federer and Daniil Medvedev on his way. He's had one match so far in Metz, beating Lucas Pouille for the loss of five games. Back him to get the win over Murray, a side bet on a tie-break may well be a winning one.
