Hubert Hurkacz vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Andrey Rublev is the second seed in the Dubai Tennis Championships and takes on fifth seeded Hubert Hurkacz in the semi-finals. The winner takes on either Denis Shapovalov or Jiri Veseley in the final. Rublev is ranked seventh in the world, four places higher than his opponent. This is the second year in a row that Rublev has reached the Dubai last four. He lost to Aslan Karatsev last year and will hope to go one better this time around. Rublev reached the semi-finals in Rotterdam and the final in Marseille but lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime in both matches. This week has seen him go well again but it's been a bit of a struggle. He beat Dan Evans in the first round but has had to go to three sets to beat both Kwon-Soon woo and MacKenzie McDonald, losing the first set in both those matches.

Hubert Hurkacz is in the semi-finals in Dubai for the first time. His previous best was the last eight in 2019 when losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas.Hurkacz made a good start to this year with three wins out of four in the ATP Cup but then lost in the second round of the Australian Open and in Rotterdam. He's found his form this week though and beat recent tournament winner Alexander Bublik in the first round for the loss of only four games. Since then, he's had wins over Alex Molcan and fourth seeded Jannik Sinner. He's met Rublev on two previous occasions and won both of them. The most recent was last year in Miami on his way to winning that title. When Hurkacz hits form he is difficult to beat. Back him to get the win over Rublev.
