The Houston Rockets are enjoying a fine run of form and notched up their seventh win in eight games last night when they hammered this opponent 116-88 at this venue.

Houston shot 45% from the field and made 15 of 39 three-point attempts. Dillon Brooks put up 28 points on 10 of 15 shooting and Tari Eason added 22 points off the bench. 

While the Rockets are scoring an above-average 114.7 points per game, their major strength has come from the other end of the court where they are allowing just 105.1 PPG - third in the NBA.

Meanwhile, last night’s defeat was the Portland Trail Blazers’ second on the bounce following a 109-99 loss to the high-flying Oklahoma City Thunder in midweek.
