The Houston Rockets will play host to the Portland Trail Blazers at the Toyota Center in the NBA on Saturday morning. The Rockets (11-5) are third in the Western Conference, while the Blazers (6-9) are 13th in the conference standings. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Houston Rockets have enjoyed an impressive start to the season and picked up their sixth win in seven, beating the Pacers 130-113 at home on Thursday. 

Alperen Sengun scored 31 points and helped the team to an early lead in the match where they scored 62 points in the first half and never looked back. 

The Rockets are now averaging 114.6 points per game this season (12th in the league), but they have been excellent on defence, allowing just 106.2 PPG (third overall in the NBA).

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers saw their three-match winning streak brought to an end on Thursday when they were beaten 109-99 by the high-flying Oklahoma Thunder. 

Shaedon Sharpe scored 21 points and Tounami Camara put up 14, but the team allowed OKC 39 points in the fourth quarter which proved too many to reel back in. 

The Blazers are ranked fourth-bottom in the scoring charts this season (106.8 PPG), while they are allowing 113.9 points per game (18th in the league).
