The postseason-chasing Phoenix Suns will be away to the Houston Rockets in their next assignment in the NBA. The Suns currently occupy 11th place in the Western Conference, whereas their hosts are 10 games above them in fifth. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Rockets have won three straight games. This streak has held them from tumbling closer and closer to the play-in bracket. Ime Udoka’s men have compiled a 40-25 record and are currently 3.56 games above the play-in.

Houston defeated the visiting Orlando Magic 97-84 last time out. Amen Thompson missed the game with an ankle issue and is still unavailable for selection.

There is good news, though, for the hosts as Fred VanVleet has been upgraded to probable. The Rockets defeated the Suns 119-111 at home in the first meeting a month ago.

The Suns have lacked consistency all season long, and this could see them miss out on the postseason. They have currently compiled a 30-35 record and are 2.5 games out of the play-in places.

Phoenix, who’ve won just three times in their last nine games, are coming off a 120-118 loss in Memphis.

Bradley Beal missed the loss to the Grizzlies due to a niggling calf injury but is expected back in Houston.
