The Philadelphia 76ers will travel to the Toyota Center to face the Houston Rockets in the NBA on Monday night. The Rockets (43-25) are second in the Western Conference, while the Sixers (23-44) are 12th in the East. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Houston Rockets have been the hottest team in the West in the last couple of weeks, now riding a six-match win streak after edging the Bulls 117-114 at home on Saturday. 

Jalen Green scored 28 points, Alperen Sengun contributed 24 points and 15 rebounds, and Fred VanVleet added 23 points and seven assists en route to the victory. 

The Rockets average 113.2 points per game (17th in the league), but their greatest strength has come on defence, where they allow just 108.7 PPG (fifth overall).

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have lost 15 of their last 18 games but managed to avoid a fourth-straight loss by beating the Mavericks 130-125 on the road last night. 

Quentin Grimes led the charge with 28 points and six assists, and Jalen Hood-Schifino added 19 points. As a team, Philly shot 52% from the field and drained 14 of 36 from range. 

The Sixers are averaging 109.6 points per game this season (25th in the league) and allow 114.6 PPG (17th overall).
