Milwaukee Bucks returned to action on Friday with a 119-112 win over the Boston Celtics. That kept them top of the Eastern Division of the Eastern Conference and they now take on the Houston Rockets. Their opponents are top of the Southwest division in the Western Conference. The Bucks have already clinched their place in the play-offs and are overall top of the Eastern Conference having won 54 and lost 12 this season. That's the highest number of wins and lowest number of defeats by any team in the NBA this season. They weren't in the best of form in March before the season was suspended but looked to be back at the top of their game when beating Boston on Friday.

The Houston Rockets are fifth overall in the Western Conference and their play-off position is also guaranteed. They have a 41-24 record for the season, that's 13 less wins than their opponents and double the number of defeats. They also won on Friday as the season resumed in Orlando, Florida, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 153-149. The Rockets needed to go to over time to win that match and are now  They were also struggling in March, losing four of their five matches.  Friday's win was an important one for the Rockets, who are now top of the Southwest Divisonl, one win ahead of the Mavericks.  That lead could be lost though with Dallas next playing the struggling Phoenix Suns, while the Rockets take on the team top of the Eastern Conference.
