The Toyota Center will burst into life on Thursday morning when the Indiana Pacers arrive to face the Houston Rockets in the NBA. The Rockets (10-5) are fourth in the Western Conference, while the Pacers (6-8) are eighth in the East. Check out our match prediction below.

The Houston Rockets have been in great form this season but saw their five-match win streak halted on Tuesday when they were beaten 101-100 by the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. 

Fred VanVleet and Jalen Green both notched up 20+ points to help Houston erase a 14-point gap before Damian Lillard hit the game-winning shot with three seconds to play. 

The Rockets are scoring an average of 113.6 points per game this season (15th in the league), but they are top three on the defensive end, allowing just 105.7 PPG.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers suffered a heavy 130-119 defeat on the road to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, marking their fourth loss in their last six matches. 

Bennedict Mathurin scored 28 points and Pascal Siakam added 25, but the team’s major issue came on defence, where they shipped 69 points in just the first half and had to chase the game from then on. 

The Pacers are outscoring their upcoming opponents by just 0.8 PPG on average this season, while on defence, they are conceding the sixth-most points of any team to date (117.6 PPG).
