The Houston Rockets will play host to the Golden State Warriors at the Toyota Center in the NBA on Thursday night. The Rockets (34-20) are third in the Western Conference while the Warriors (27-27) are 10th. Let’s get into the match prediction!

After a six-match losing streak, the Houston Rockets are starting to heat back up, now aiming for a third straight win after beating the Suns 119-111 last night. 

Tari Eason led the charge with 25 points and Jalen Green added 22, while as a team, Houston shot 47% from the field and made 13 of 42 attempts from beyond the arc. 

The Rockets average 113.0 points per game this season (16th overall) but their greatest strength has been at the other end of the court where they allow just 108.7 PPG (sixth in the league).

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been a mixed bag of late, 5-5 in their last 10 games, and looking to bounce back from a 111-107 loss to the Mavericks last night. 

Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler combined for 46 points, but as a team, Golden State shot just 42% from the field which saw them come up short despite a spirited fightback in the second half. 

The Warriors are averaging 112.1 points per game (19th in the NBA), but they are a top-10 defence that allows just 111.9 PPG.
