The Toyota Center will come to life on Saturday night when the Houston Rockets play host to the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. The Rockets (32-15) are second in the Western Conference while the Nets (15-33) are 13th in the East. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The Houston Rockets have been in great shape of late, 7-3 in their last 10, but they will be aiming to return to winning ways after getting edged 120-119 by the Grizzlies on Thursday. 

Jalen Green top-scored for Houston with 25 points and Dillon Brooks added 22 points but Memphis ended the game on a 13-4 run that saw them sneak the win at the death. 

The Rockets are averaging 114.0 points per game this season (13th in the league), but they play elite-level defence that allows just 108.4 PPG (fifth in the NBA).

In contrast, the Brooklyn Nets have been in terrible form lately, losing 12 of their last 14 games, but they did manage to end a seven-match losing streak by beating the Hornets 104-83 in midweek.

Keon Johnson scored 18 points and Jalen Wilson added 15. As a team, Brooklyn shot 48% from the field and made 10 of 32 attempts from long range. 

The Nets are the second-lowest-scoring team in the NBA (105.4 PPG), and allow 112.7 PPG at the other end (16th overall).
