Sunday in Major League Baseball sees the red-hot Houston Astros looking for their fourth consecutive win when they take on an Oakland A's team that sits rock-bottom of the AL West. Houston’s recent winning streak combined with a downturn in the New York Yankees form has seen the Astros claim the best record in the American League with 74 wins and 41 losses. This also gives Houston the third best record in all of baseball, behind the Mets and the Dodgers in the NL. They come into this game as understandably heavy favorites to sweep the Athletics in the third and final game of this series. Oakland has been one of the worst teams in baseball in the 2022/23 season, with their 41-73 record second only to the Nationals for the fewest wins in the league.
