Holger Rune vs Sebastian Baez Prediction & Betting Tips - Swiss Indoors ATP Basel

Top seed Holger Rune doesn't have any seeded players between him and the Swiss Indoor Championships quarter finals. Rune takes on Sebastian Baez in round two with the winner facing either Andy Murray or Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the last eight. Rune began this indoor hard court tournament ranked sixth but is a down a place in the live rankings. In the Live ATP Race, he's in eighth place which is the final qualifying spot for the ATP Tour Finals. He's just ahead of Taylor Fritz, who he could meet in the last four of this Basel tournament. Rune had lost eight of his last nine matches before beating Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round of this tournament. That was a shaky performance, needing three sets to get the win and losing the first 6-1. 

Sebastian Baez was ranked 29th when this tournament began and is up a place in the live rankings. He's 27th in the Live ATP Race but way behind qualification for the Tour Finals. The Argentinian has also been struggling in recent weeks. He lost in his first match in Stockholm last week and in the last 32 of the Shanghai Masters. His only win in that tournament was against Dane Sweeny who was ranked 273rd at the time. That was his only win in the last five he's played in singles tournaments. He got back into winning ways in the first round of this tournament but also struggled. He took on qualifier Chris O'Connell and had to come from behind after losing the first set on a tie-break. The pair have met on two previous occasions on the ATP Tour and once on the Challenger Tour. Baez leads 2-1 but all were played on clay. This could be a close match and we go for Rune to get the win.
