Harriet Dart vs Madison Keys Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Indian Wells

Emma Raducanu may be out of Indian Wells but there's still a female British player in the last 16. Qualifier Harriet Dart takes on Madison Keys with the winner up against either Iga Swiatek or Angelique Kerber in the quarter finals. Dart began this tournament ranked 122nd but is up to a career best 99th in the live rankings. The British player has been as low as 132nd this year .Her year began down under in Melbourne, and she lost to Madison Keys in straight sets. Dart made it to the first round of the Australian Open but only won three games against Iga Swiatek. Her form has been inconsistent since then failing to qualify for three main draws. A good run at Indian Wells didn't look likely when losing to Liv Hoyde (currently ranked 1032nd) in straight sets. Dart was the 21st seed in the qualifying rounds for this tournament but won both her matches to make the main draw. Wins have come against Ana Konjuh, 12th seeded Elina Svitolina (after losing the first set) and Kaia Kanepi.

Madison Keys is seeded 25th and world ranked 29th. The former world number seven (that was achieved six years ago) was as low as 87th this year but made a strong start to 2022. Keys won the second Adelaide tournament, beating Alison Riske in the final. On her way to the title decider, Keys beat Coco Gauff and Elina Svitolina. Better was to come as Keys got to the semi-finals of the Australian Open. Sofia Kenin, Barbora Krejcikova and Paula Badosa were all beaten before the American lost to eventual champion Ashleigh Barty. Form has dipped since with two first round exits but Keys is doing well again this week with wins over Misaiki Doi (losing the middle set) and getting another win over Riske. Keys can be backed to win this match.
