Match 9 of the 2025 Indian Premier League will see the Gujarat Titans play host to the Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday. GT are eighth in the standings after the first round, while MI are one spot above them in seventh place. Let’s get into the match prediction.
The Gujarat Titans kicked off their 2025 IPL with a high-scoring matchup against the Punjab Kings, where they came up agonisingly short of victory by 11 runs chasing 243/5.
Sai Sudharsan top scored for GT with 74 runs in 41 deliveries, while Jos Buttler made 54 off 33 balls. Sai Kishore was the standout bowler for the team, taking 3/30 in his four-over allotment.

While MI may be the joint-most successful team in the IPL, they have struggled against the Titans, losing three of the five matches between the sides since GT entered the competition in 2022.
