The Gujarat Titans will face off against the Delhi Capitals in match 32 of the 2024 Indian Premier League on Wednesday afternoon. The hosts are sixth in the league standings, while the visitors are ninth. Since their first appearance in the IPL back in 2022, the Gujarat Titans have made back-to-back finals and are still in contention to reach the playoffs this season. The hosts won the last match between these sides by six wickets and are the favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals have not reached the playoffs in this competition since 2021 and have work to do if they are to reach the knockout rounds this year. They are currently on four points after six matches and have a very poor net run rate of -0.975 heading into this match. The Capitals pulled off an against-the-odds victory on Friday, beating the Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets and with 11 balls to spare at the Ekana Sports City. Their other win in the competition was against CSK last month, while they’ve suffered defeats against the Royals, Mumbai Indians, and Knight Riders. Rishabh Pant has been the major contributor with the bat, currently 11th in the orange cap standings with 194 runs in six innings, while Khaleel Ahmed leads the side with the ball in hand, currently fifth in the race for the purple cap with nine wickets.
