Grigor Dimitrov bids to reach the Miami Open fourth round for only the second time. The 11th seed takes on unseeded Yannick Hanfmann in this outdoor hard court tournament. The winner will face either eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz or 28th seeded Adrian Mannarino. Dimitrov got to the fourth round (last 16) of this Masters 1000 event in both 2012 and 2016. He's ranked 12th in the world and in the same position in the Live ATP Race. The Bulgarian won the title in Brisbane two months ago and since then has also made the final in Marseille and the last four in Rotterdam. So far in Miami, Dimitrov has had a tight second round match against Alejandro Tabilo. He lost the first set on a tie-break, won the second in the same fashion and only lost two games in the decider.

Yannick Hanfmann is in the third round of the Miami Open for the first time. He started the tournament ranked 56th but is up five places in the live rankings. The German has had to go to the final set in both of his matches so far in this tournament. Round one saw him beat Emil Ruusuvouri in three sets, losing the middle one. That took him into a match against the 19th seed Adrian Mannarino. He lost the first set this time but won a tie-break to level the match. The deciding set was won by Hanfmann 6-4. That broke a sequence of five consecutive hard court matches this year in which he's failed to win two matches in a row. We tip Dimitrov to win this match in straight sets and move into round four again after a gap of eight years.
