Grigor Dimitrov vs Hubert Hurkacz Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Monte Carlo Masters

11th seeded Hubert Hurkacz bids to reach his first Monte Carlo Masters semi-final. He takes on the unseeded Grigor Dimitrov with the winner facing either Alejanddro Davidovich-Fokina or tenth seed Taylor Fritz in the last four. Hurkacz is world ranked 14th and has never previously made it past the last 32 of this tournament. Success on clay is something that has eluded the Pole. He's played the French Open four times and only won one match with first round exits in 2019 2020 and 2021. He did win a couple of lower level clay events but the last of those was four years ago. Hurkacz reached the last four in the Dubai and Miami hard court events and will now hope to repeat that form on clay. This week has seen him beat Hugo Dellien, Pedro Martinez (in three sets) and Albert Ramos Vinolas, so not the toughest of routes to the last four.

World number 29 Grigor Dimitrov is in his third Monte Carlo Masters quarter final but only reached the last four in 2018. He'll be glad that Rafa Nadal is absent this week as he's lost to him in his last three visits here as well as in the 2013 quarter final. His only ATP Tour clay court title was won in 2014 but did win five lower level events, though the last of those was 12 years ago. Dimitrov is in his third quarter final of 2022 and his best performnce was reaching the semi-final in Melbourne. This week has seen him beat 15th seed Nikoloz Basilashvili, Dusan Lajovic (after losing the first set) and then fourth seeded Casper Ruud in straight sets. He's in good form and without Nadal on the other side of the net can reach the semi-final.
