Grigor Dimitrov and Alex de Minaur are set to face off at the Monte Carlo Masters. The two will square off in the third quarter-final, marking their fifth meeting, with the winner meeting Lorenzo Musetti or Stefanos Tsitsipas next. We have the prediction for this match below.

For the second straight outing Dimitrov registered a three-set win as he saw off Alejandro Tabilo in the last round. In a match that lasted just under two hours, Dimitrov did well to recover after losing the second set.

With the win, he has compiled a record of 12-6. The Bulgarian has advanced past this stage twice before at Monte Carlo but has also twice fallen at the quarters. He comes here with a 27-12 record at Monte Carlo.

De Minaur took advantage of a jaded Daniil Medvedev in the last round, cruising to a dominant win in straight sets to set up this clash. The Aussie had started his competition with a win in three sets against Tomas Machac but he knew he had to step up his game for Medvedev.

He did just that, to secure his second consecutive quarter-final at Monte Carlo. Seeking his first title of the year, De Minaur has now set a 19-6 record, and will be keen on extending his advantage against Dimitrov. Head-to-head, he currently leads 3-1.
