Spain will seek to boost their United Cup knockout chances when they take on Greece next in Group C. They sit third after losing their opening tie to Kazakhstan. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Greece are playing their first tie of this year’s tournament. This is their third successive appearance in the United Cup and they are hoping to go all the way and lift the title.

Greece, who are once again being represented by Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas, have never failed to make the knockout rounds.

They were semi-finalists in the inaugural edition and then made the quarter-finals in the 2024 edition. Tsitsipas and Sakkari won a combined 70 matches in 2024.

Spain lost to Kazakhstan 2-1 in their first group tie. The two nations split the Singles events before Kazakhstan secured the win in the Doubles.

Represented by Jessica Bouzas and Pablo Carreno Busta in the Singles, Spain know a second defeat here will see them eliminated. Spain have never made it out of the round-robin stage.

They lost both of their ties in the inaugural tournament and then drew 1-1 in the last edition. Bouzas, who finished with a 50-24 record in the 2024 season, lost in straight sets to Elena Rybakina in her Singles match.

Carreno Busta tied the match with a 2-0 victory over Alexander Shevchenko.
