World champions Denmark bid to make it 23 games without defeat as they take on Greece on Sunday. This is a match in Group F with the other two countries being Portugal and the Czech Republic. The Danes began this group on Thursday with a 23-14 win over the Czech Republic. The scores were level at the break but Denmark dominated the second half to run out comfortable winners.  They are looking to add the European crown to the world title they won last year. Lifting the trophy would make them three-time champions and would be their first title triumph since 2012. The last championships in 2022 saw them finish in third place. This year has already gone well for the Danes with them winning a Golden League tournament. Not since 2022 have they been beaten and we don't expect their long unbeaten run to come to an end here.

Greece have nowhere near the experience of their opponents. This is their first time in the finals of the European Championships. It was a struggle to get to these finals with three wins and the same number of defeats in their qualifying group. Those wins did get them through as one of the best third placed teams. Their debut match in the European Championship finals saw them beaten by Portugal 31-24, losing both halves. A tougher assignment is facing them now and we tip Denmark to win this game on a -13.5 goal handicap.
