Great Britain made it to the last four of the Davis Cup Finals in 2019. They have a good chance of doing so again when taking on Germany in the quarter finals. The winner of this match faces either Sweden or the Russian Davis Cup team. Great Britain made it to the last eight by beating France and the Czech Republic in their group. Cameron Norrie and the doubles partnership of Salisbury and Skupski won both of their matches. 

The Germans also won both of their group games. They are without their top ranked player Alexander Zverev but still overcame Serbia and Austria. Their singles players are Dominic Koepfer and Jan-Lennard Struff and both suffered defeats in their two matches. Their doubles partnership of Krawietz and Putz got them through each of their group matches for a 2-1 win. Both Evans and Norrie are higher ranked than their German singles opposition. The same goes for Salisbury and Skupski, so it's the British team who should be able to progress to another semi-final.
