Bologna got back to winning ways in Europe last time out, thanks to an 82-72 away victory over Bayern. That was their fifth victory in the last eight matchdays and improved to 7-15.

Bologna’s poor start to the season has hampered them and they remain five games adrift of the playoff places. Dusko Ivanovic’s men have compiled one of the worst records at home and have lost seven times in 11 such outings.

Monaco have hit a snag and come into this game on a three-match skid. Vassilis Spanoulis’ men had won five times in their six games leading to this slump and had ascended to the top of the table.

They now sit three wins off the pace with a 13-9 record. Monaco are coming off an 88-82 defeat in OT away to Crvena Zvezda.

However, the French giants have a strong record against Bologna. They won four of the five times they squared off in Europe. In the reverse match this season, Monaco earned a 101-85 victory.
