The Golden State Warriors play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at Chase Center in Sunday's NBA Western Conference clash. The Warriors are seventh in the league standings, while the Clippers are fourth. Here's our match prediction. 

The Golden State Warriors are in a good mood and can't be blamed after boosting their playoff hopes with a much-needed 103-86 win over the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center.

The Warriors, however, huffed and puffed in their triumph over the Blazers. They had a rough night, shooting 39.8% from the floor and 31.8% from three-point range.

Steve Kerr's men have been in great form, winning seven of their last nine games. They are heading into the second night of a back-to-back riding a two-match losing streak at home.

The Los Angeles Clippers, on the other hand, did not expect the Sacramento Kings to fight back. However, they saw off the game with a narrow 101-100 victory at Golden 1 Center.

The situation is as follows for the Clippers: they have yet to secure a playoff berth in the West and are tied with the Nuggets in the No. 4 seed. Failure to win here could possibly see them land in the play-in tournament.

There's reason to believe that Tyronn Lue and co. can clinch the playoff berth. They are on an outstanding run, winning seven games in a row.
