We head back to the Chase Center on Monday night for Game 4 in the NBA Playoff series between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. The Warriors beat the Rockets in Game 3 and lead the series 2-1. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

If you’ve ever heard the saying, form is temporary but class is permanent - Stephen Curry proved it on Friday night by leading the Warriors to a 104-93 victory and a 2-1 series lead. 

With Jimmy Butler sidelined through injury, Curry led Golden State with 36 points. Additionally, Golden State’s bench stepped up big time, contributing 42 points, led by Buddy Hield’s 17 points. 

However, the player that really caught the eye was Gary Payton II, who scored nine straight points for his team in the fourth quarter and ended with 16 in 21 minutes on the court. 

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets tried everything to stop Curry in Game 3, including double teams and switching defenders, but all of it went in vain. It also opened up gaps for the likes of Hield and Payton II to exploit. 

Additionally, their fixation on stopping Curry seemed to have a negative impact on their own attacking performance, with no Rockets player scoring over 17 points in the match. 

Alperen Sengun delivered his worst showing in the series with 15 points, while the Chase Center faithful got under the skin of Dillon Brooks, who had four fouls by halftime, which impacted his playing minutes.
