Pro12 Champions Glasgow have not made a secret of the fact that they want to do well in this competition to prove they can compete with the best. However, so far they have played a home game against Northampton and lost that one. They take on Scarlets who currently top the Pro12 with eight wins and a defeat but they are in danger of being knocked out of the European Cup in the pool stages. They have lost their opening two games and another defeat here will almost certainly end their hopes of qualifying  That's looking likely as Scarlets have a massive injury crisis at present with most of their pack likely to be missing this match and that really gives Glasgow the advantage here. They only won 22-20 at Treviso recently and they're bottom of the Pro12 so a game at Glasgow with a below strength side should only end in a win for the home side.
