Kevin Anderson is seeded eighth for this tournament but three previous times he has made the fourth round at Wimbledon and been knocked out, perhaps it'll be fourth time lucky as he bids to reach his first Wimbledon quarter-final. If he does make it through, the chances are he'll be up against number one seed Roger Federer so he needs to be in form this week. So far he has only lost one set on his way to this fourth round match against Monfils. 

His French opponent is down at 44 in the world but was in the top ten two years ago.That was achieved after a run to the semi-finals of the US Open but since then he hasn't got past the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament. It's not been the best of years for him so far with his best performance being reaching the final of a tournament in Qatar right at the start of the year. At Wimbledon he has never made it past the third round until this year. He's beaten number 23 seed Richard Gasquet in the first round and beat Sam Querrey who was seeded 11th in the third round coming from a set down to win in four.  Monfils has beaten Anderson in all five of their previous meetings, go for him to make it six in a row as he reaches his first Wimbledon quarter-final.
