Twentieth seed Francisco Cerundolo and 26th seed Sebastian Korda will on Tuesday face off at the Shanghai Masters fourth round. Cerundolo had to come from a set down to win his third-round match against Marton Fucsovics. He hasn’t had the smoothest run to this round as in his tournament opener, he had to win two tiebreakers against Mckenzie McDonald. The Argentine has now won his last four matches allowing him to boost his record for the season to 37-22. Currently ranked 21st in the ATP, Cerundolo has won 10 of the 18 matches he has played on hard courts.

Korda shocked second-seed Daniil Medvedev in the last round and won in straight sets. His 24th win of the season came against the defending champion here and should boost his confidence even more. Korda has been in fine form lately and before arriving to make his Shanghai debut, finished as runner-up in Astana. The American has now won eight of his last 10 matches to compile a 24-13 record. Sixteen of his victories have come on hard courts where he has made 23 appearances thus far. He is currently ranked 27th in the live ranking. The winner here will next play either Jannik Sinner or Ben Shelton in the quarters.
