Lorenzo Musetti is in the form of his life and can rise to 16th in the rankings if winning this clay court title. The Italian is in his second ATP Tour final on this surface, his other being when winning the Hamburg title in 2022.

Recent weeks have seen Musetti reach a final and two other semi-finals on grass. He's carried that form over to clay now with this run in Umag. To ge to this final, he's beaten Fabio Cobolli, Marco Trungelliti and Dusan Lajovic (after losing the first set),

In Friday's semi-final defeated Jakub Mensik, losing only five games. In his last four sets played this week, he's only lost eight games. He's played Cerundolo on two previous occasions. Both were on clay and won by Musetti in straight sets.

Fourth seed Francisco Cerundolo beat top-seeded Andrey Rublev in his semi-final. He won the match in straight sets, though the first went to a tie-break. The Argentinian is up to 28th in the live rankings and will climb to 26th if winning this final.

He's been consistent on clay this year with four quarter-finals and a last four appearance. Now he's finally made it to a final. This is his fifth ATP Tour final and he's won two titles in the past, one on clay and the other on grass. 

Three matches have had to be won to reach this final. The only set dropped was in his quarter-final against Lorenzo Sonego. This should be a thrilling final and we tip Lorenzo Musetti to win the title.
