His two titles are the first of his career at tour level and one was achieved on hard court. The 27-year-old arrives to make his Cincinnati debut after losing in the first round in Toronto where he was also making his debut. Griekspoor has been in good form in America. He made it to the Washington Open final and will hope to challenge for the title here too. The winner in this match will play either of the two wildcards - Stan Wawrinka or Brandon Nakashima - in the second round.
