Frances Tiafoe vs Liam Broady Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Eastbourne International

British player Liam Broady has been given a wild card to play in the men's singles at Eastbourne. He faces a tough first round match though up against Frances Tiafoe. It'll get even harder for whoever wins this match with second seeded Alex de Minaur the second round opponent. Broady has also been given a wild card for Wimbledon and starts this week ranked 144th in the world. He's been climbing the rankings though after beginning the year world number 188. His current ranking is seven places less than his highest ever of 137 achieved two years ago. Most of this year has been spent on the Challenger Tour. He began the year getting to the final in Potchefstroom in South Africa.  A semi-final was also reached there the following month and another final in Italy.  On the main ATP Tour, Broady got to the last sixteen in Cagliari, before another Challenger semi-final. Only two matches have been won in his last four tournaments though. He did reach the final of the boys' singles at both Wimbledon and the US Open in 2011 and 2012 but has only ever won one main draw match in the men's singles at Wimbledon.

Frances Tiafoe begins this week ranked 56th in the world. He's a former world number 29 but ended May down in 74th. He's been going great guns on grass winning the recent Challenger Tour tournament in Nottingham. Last week he made it to the last eight in the cinch Championships in London with a win over Aljaz Bedene, ranked 60th at the time. Tiafoe also got to the last eight in Delray Beach in January, losing to Cameron Norrie. He lost in the second round of the Australian Open but did take a set off Novak Djokovic. Other 2021 highlights include a run to the last 16 at the Miami Masters, beating Daniel Evans and Dusan Lajovic.  Back Tiafoe to get another win over a British player and get revenge for a loss to Broady on grass four years ago.
