Frances Tiafoe vs Jack Draper Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

Frances Tiafoe continues his defence of the BOSS Open which is being played in Stuttgart. The American is the fourth seed and has a tough quarter-final against sixth seeded Jack Draper. For the winner, the only seeded player that could be faced is the seventh seed Jan-Lennard Struff. Tiaofe won this grass court title last year (beating Struff in the final) but isn't quite in that kind of form at present. He's slipped down to 28th in the live rankings but was in the top ten in June of last year. In the Live ATP Race, the 26-year-old is down at 39th place. He reached the final of this year's US clay court championship but then won only two out of his next eight matches on that surface. On grass courts, Tiafoe has reached the third round at Wimbledon in each of the past three years with a fourth round appearance in 2022. His one match in Stuttgart this week saw him beat Yannick Hanfmann in straight sets but he dropped 11 games.

Jack Draper is up to 35th in the live rankings and a win here will see him rise a couple of places. Getting himself a seeding at Wimbledon is definitely a possibility for the British player. He'll relish a return to grass courts after losing the last three matches of his clay court season. This is his first tournament on grass since 2022 after missing last season's events due to injury. Two years ago, he got to the last four of the Eastbourne tournament with a win over Taylor Fritz so is undoubtedly talented on this surface. He's played two matches so far this week and has had wins over Sebastian Ofner (both sets going to a tie-break) and Marcos Giron needing three sets to progress. We go for over 23.5 games to be played in this match.
