Fourth seed Frances Tiafoe will on Tuesday at the Queen’s Club Championship, meet the unseeded Botric Van De Zandschulp. Tiafoe has been excellent on grass so far and arrives in London a recently crowned champion. The American won it all in Stuttgart which was his second title of the season and third of his career. This saw him move into 10th place in the ATP world rankings, the first time he has made it to the top 10. Tiafoe has dominated most of his matchups this year, winning 27 of his 36 matches. The 25-year-old won his only encounter with Van De Zandschulp to date which was last season in Washington.

Botic Van De Zandschulp hasn’t had the best of times on grass over the course of his career. He has played 17 matches on the surface since 2018 and has won nine times. The Dutchman will hope to fare better as he makes his grass court debut this year. Van De Zandschulp last took to the court almost a month ago and should be well-rested to challenge Tiafoe. He arrives for this match with a record of 13 wins and 13 losses and sitting in 40th place in the live ranking. The winner of this first-round tie will play the unseeded Sebastian Korda in the second round.
