France vs Slovenia Prediction & Betting Tips - Men's Olympic Tournament

Slovenia are the favourites to beat France and progress to the final of the men's Olympic basketball tournament. They have never won an Olympic basketball medal, while opponents France won the silver in 2000 and will be hoping for a chance to possibly meet the USA in this year's final, 21 years after losing to them in Sydney. Slovenia were impressive in the group stages winning all three of their matches against Spain, Argentina and hosts Japan. They finished with a points difference of 61 points with Luca Doncic in top form against Argentina, scoring 49 points. Slovenia went into the knock-out stages as the top ranked team. The last eight saw them beat Germany 94-70 and will be tough to beat here. 

France surprisingly finished top of their group. They won all three of their matches, including defeating the USA 83-76 after being eight points down at half time. Evan Fournier top scored with 28 points as they made a successful comeback. That surprise win was followed by victories over the Czech Republic and Iran. The last eight saw them up against Italy and they won that with a nine-point margin. France did well in their group but Slovenia have been more impressive and can get the victory here.
