France vs Slovenia Prediction & Betting Tips - Men's Olympic Tournament

It’s crunch time in the volleyball competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as the final round of matches gets underway with France taking on Slovenia on Friday afternoon. Les Bleus are currently second in Pool A, while the Dragons lead the standings. Check out our match prediction below. 

As we head into the final round of matches, both these sides have already booked their spot in the next round having won both preceding matches in the competition. 

France opened their campaign with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Serbia but were far too good for the Canadians in game two, securing a straight-sets win (25-20, 25-21, 25-17). 

With those results, Les Bleus are now on a seven-match winning streak in all competitions and have only lost two of their last 10. Those defeats were against Japan and Germany. 

However, the hosts now face Slovenia, who have been in excellent form themselves. They made light work of Serbia in the first match, beating them 3-0 before securing a 3-1 win over Canada in match two. 

The Dragons now have a record of four wins in their last five and have lost only three of their last 10, twice to Poland and once to Japan.

Slovenia have been the more successful side in this contest, winning the last two matches against France, including at the Nations League back in May.
