France vs Scotland Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations
by Devesh Jaganath in Six Nations Predictions
Round 3 of the Six Nations will conclude on Sunday when Scotland head to Stade de France to take on defending champions France in a match with plenty of history behind it. The visitors have gotten off to their best start possible in the Six Nations, winning both of their opening matches and picking up two valuable bonus points in the process. After defeating England in Twickenham in the tournament opener, Scotland went on to demolish Wales 35-7 to set themselves in second place on the log level on points with Ireland at the top. The last time Scotland traveled to Paris, they registered their first win over France in 22 years, and they will be hoping they can repeat that performance this time around.
France will come into this match on a mission to get their tournament back on track after losing 32-19 to the current leaders, Ireland. That was their first loss in 12 matches since their last loss to this opposition in March 2021. France has not looked at their best so far this in this tournament, and the loss to Ireland merely confirmed the worries that surfaced in their narrow win over Italy in the first round. While the chances of defending their title is not entirely gone, it is in certain jeopardy as they have to overcome Scotland and hope for another side to stop Ireland in order for them to have a chance at lifting the trophy again.

Our France vs Scotland Prediction
This is a really difficult game to call. Scotland has been impressive so far this tournament and is growing in the belief that they can pull off an unlikely grand slam title which seems to have sparked them into life. However, time and time again, the French remind us exactly how good of a team they are. While they did lose to Ireland in the last match, it required an incredible performance by the Irish defense to keep them out, and Scotland may just fall short in that regard. Therefore, our Scotland v France prediction is a win for the hosts.
