France vs Norway Prediction & Betting Tips - United Cup

France take on Norway in the quarter finals of the United Cup. Up next for the winners is Poland who beat China 3-0 in their match in the last eight. France are the deserved favorites to wn this match against Norway. They earned their place in the last eight by winning both of their matches in Group D. France began with a 2-1 win over Germany with their wins coming from Caroline Garcia in the women's singles and she then teamed up with Edouard Roger-Vasselin to win the deciding mixed doubles. Adrian Mannarino lost his men's singles match to Alexander Zverev but was in better form as France beat Italy 3-0. He beat Lorenzo Sonego in straight sets (though he could do without hitting himself in the head) and another win for Garcia confirmed their place in the last eight. The mixed doubles was also won for a clean sweep, this time Roger-Vasselin teaming up with Elixane Lechemia as France rested their top players.

Norway topped Group F ahead of Croatia and the Netherlands. They didn't have such a smooth progress to the last eight as their opponents. In fact, qualifying at all looked unlikely after losing their opening match 2-1 to the Netherlands. Their only win came in the men's singles with Casper Ruud defeating Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets. Norway recovered well to beat Croatia 2-1 with Ruud beating Borna Coric and the mixed doubles partnership of Ruud and Ulrikke Eikeri beating Donna Vekic and Ivan Dodig in three sets. The weak link in their team is Malene Holgo who has lost both of her singles matches, though she did at least take a set off Vekic. It's unlikely she'll beat Garcia so Norway will need to win both of the other matches to progress. France look to have the better mixed doubles team and will likely need them to win if Ruud beats Mannarino. We tip France to progress.
