France vs Germany Prediction & Betting Tips - Men's Olympics Handball

France and Germany will battle it out in the Olympic Games Women's Quarter Final of the handball competition on Tuesday night.  The winner of this match will move on to face either Hungary or Sweden in the semi-final on August 8. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Les Bleus are well on their way to defending their Olympic Gold medal and have been the pick of the sides up to this point in the competition. 

They came through the group stage as the only team with a perfect record of five wins from five and are the highest-scoring side in the competition with 159 goals, and a goal difference of 35. 

The host nation beat Hungary (31-28), Netherlands (32-28), Brazil (26-20), Angola (38-24) and Spain (32-24). They are now on a seven-match winning streak in all competitions and have only lost once in their last 30 matches. 

Meanwhile, Germany got through to the knockout round by the skin of their teeth, winning only one of their group-stage matches but managed to edge South Korea and Slovenia by way of goal difference. 

They lost to South Korea (23-22), Sweden (31-28), Denmark (28-27) and Norway (30-18), with their only victory coming against Slovenia by a scoreline of 41-22. 

Germany now have a record of five wins and five losses in their last 10 matches across all competitions. However, they have not beaten Les Bleus in a competitive match since December 2019.
