France vs Denmark Prediction & Betting Tips - Group A

France were crowned world women's handball champions in 2017 and are out to win another title. They take on Denmark in the 2021 semi-final, a repeat of this year's Olympic final won by France. The winners face either Norway or Spain. France won their group in the preliminary round with three wins over Angola, Slovenia and Montenegro. That took them into Group 1 in the main round and two further wins over Poland and Serbia saw the finish top of that group. Their quarter final was against Sweden and it was a tight affair for most of the game. The scores were tied at 15-15 but France pushed on in the second half to win 31-26.

Denmark are bidding to win their first title since becoming Olympic champions in 2004. That completed a hat-trick o Olympic titles but they have achieved little over the past few years. They did finish fourth in the European championships last year, a tournament that they hosted. Better form has been shown in this tournament though. In the preliminary round, they won all three of their games, scoring 103 goals. Wins came against South Korea, Congo and Tunisia with at least 33 goals in each match. In the main round, Denmark had victories over Hungary and the Czech Republic to finish top. The last eight saw Denmark in their toughest game so far, beating Brazil 30-25. This looks a tougher game for them, back France to get the win as they bid to add the world title to the Gold medal won at the Olympics.
