France vs Canada Prediction & Betting Tips - Men's Olympic Tournament

France will look to build on their promising start to the 2024 Paris Olympics volleyball competition when they take on Canada on Tuesday evening in match two. Les Bleus are currently second in the Pool with two points, while the Canucks are bottom with no points. Take a look at our prediction of this match below. 

France faced a tricky opening to the competition, taking on Serbia in their opening match. They were put under early pressure, losing the first set 25-23 but bounced back well to snap up the next two. 

After the Serbs clinched set four, Les Bleus found another gear and surged to victory in the fifth and final set dropping just six points to claim two points in the group. 

Next up for the host nations is Canada, a side they have beaten in their last three encounters, and have not lost to in 11 previous meetings, dating all the way back to August 2018. 

During that 11-match run, only one game ended as a 2-2 draw, which was a friendly back in 2022. 

Meanwhile, Canada have to secure a big result here or they could find themselves heading home early. They got their Olympic campaign underway on Sunday with a 3-1 loss to Slovenia. 

The Dragons shot out to a two-set lead before the Canucks seemed to find their rhythm in set three which they won 25-21. But their resurgence was short-lived with Slovenia proving too good in the fourth.

That was Canada’s first loss in their last four games in all competitions and just their third in the last 13.
