Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Predictions & Betting tips - Formule 1
by Devesh Jaganath |
On Sunday evening, we head to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Lando Norris leads the driver standings with 77 points, while Oscar Piastri is now in second with 74 points, and Max Verstappen is third with 69 points. Let’s get into the race prediction.
The Bahrain Grand Prix last week was an important one in the driver standings, as Oscar Piastri climbed up to second place by winning the race ahead of George Russell.
However, the Aussie will have to start this week from second position on the grid after coming up just 0.010s slower than Max Verstappen in qualifying, while Russell put in another impressive performance for third.
Current leader Lando Norris has it all to do and could lose first place this weekend after crashing out early in Q3, which will see him start in 10th place. However, Norris did top two of the three sessions.
The Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished on either side of Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s Mercedes in fifth. Lewis Hamilton, Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly will start in P7 to P9, respectively.
While the Papaya team were expected to dominate proceedings in Jeddah, Verstappen once again proved why he is the defending champion, and it looks all set to be another Red Bull vs McLaren shootout for the top step.

Our Saudi Arabian Grand Prix - Formule 1 prediction
It looks like McLaren are well on course to securing the constructors' championship again this season, but it seems increasingly likely that we are in for a dogfight in the driver standings.
Max Verstappen will likely be the Papaya team’s major competition, and the defending champion put in a sensational lap to clinch pole for this weekend’s showdown. If he does not go on to win, we fancy he will claim at least the second step. Our Saudi Arabian Grand Prix prediction is Max Verstappen top 2 finish.
