United States Grand Prix Predictions & Betting tips - Formula 1

Into the final quarter of the 2024 Formula 1 season we go, with round 19 heading to the Circuit of the Americas for the United States Grand Prix on Sunday evening!
With six races left, Max Verstappen still leads the F1 driver standings with 339 points, but Lando Norris has now moved to 285 in second and Charles Leclerc is third with 250 points.
McLaren have continued to churn out impressive qualifying performances, with Lando Norris taking a stunning pole position for the US Grand Prix during qualifying.
The Brit took P1 with his first qualifying effort of 1m 32.330s - 0.031s faster than Max Verstappen, whose final lap was disrupted due to Norris’s teammate George Russell crashing out at Turn 19.
Ferrari will line up in the second row on the grid with Carlos Sainz and teammate Charles Leclerc locking up third and fourth respectively with times of 1:32.652 and 1:32.740.
Oscar Piastri will start in P5 ahead of Russell in the Mercedes but Lewis Hamilton had a woeful day, exiting early in qualifying and only managing 19th place through his Q1 time of 1:34.154.
Pierre Gasly, Fernando Alonso, Kevin Magnussen and Sergio Perez rounded out P7 to P10 respectively.

While Red Bull have brought a significant upgrade to the Circuit of the Americas, Lando Norris’s McLaren continues to look like a rocketship and the Brit is taking full advantage of it.
Indeed, Verstappen’s final lap in qualifying suggests that he still has more to give in this race, and he may well go on to win. However, we are expecting Norris to be right on his tail, and lock up one of the top two steps. Our United States Grand Prix prediction: Top 2 Finish - Lando Norris!
