Filip Krajinovic vs Sam Querrey Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

You might think betting on a player who is 73 places below his opponent isn't a good idea. However, a wager on Sam Querrey to knock out Filip Krajinovic in the second round at Queen's Club can be a winner. It's all down to the fact this is a grass court tournament and Querry has a great record on this surface. The American began this week ranked 121st in the world but four years ago was 11th. He hasn't been playing consistently on the ATP Tour this year and is yet to reach a quarter final in 2022. Now it's the grass court season and he has made a steady start to that. He lost in the first round to Max Purcell in Surbiton but then got to the last 16 in the Netherlands last week, winning three matches. Back at Queen's Club, he had to win two qualifiers to get into the main draw. He didn't lose a set in those two matches, nor in his first round match when defeating fifth seeded Diego Schwartzmann. Last year saw him reach a semi-final and final on grass and in the past has two quarter finals and a semi-final at Wimbledon.

Filip Krajinovic is the world number 48 and has had an inconsistent year. His best performance was a semi-final in Montpellier four months ago but no top 60 ranked player was beaten. Krajinovic has an appalling record at Wimbledon with three failed qualifying attempts. He has made the main draw on four occasions but has yet to win a match. He's far more used to winning games on clay but did get a victory over Jenson Brooksby in the first round without losing a set. The pair have met twice in the past and the score is 1-1. This is their first match on grass and their last meeting (won by Krajinovic) was five years ago. This is a match in the top half of the draw and the winner will face either wild card Ryan Penniston (who beat top seeded Casper Ruud) or Francisco Cerundolo in the last eight.
