Filip Krajinovic vs Jannik Sinner Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Italian Open

Jannik Sinner is up against unseeded Filip Krajanovic in the Rome Masters third round. A win will see the victor taking on either fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas or unseeded Karen Khachanov in the quarter finals. Sinner is the tenth seed but ranked 13th in the world. He's up a place in the live rankings but still behind the 10th place in which he started the year. He's never made it past round three of this tournament but has a good chance of doing so here. A win will take Sinner into his fifth quarter final of the year. He got to that stage in Monte Carlo and then the last 16 in Madrid. It's taken top ten ranked players to beat him in both of those tournaments. In Rome he's beaten Pedro Martinez and then fellow-Italian Fabio Fognini with the latter going to three sets.

Filip Krajinovic started this week in 54th place in the ranking but a win here could see him climb ten places in the next list. Krajinovic  He has been as high as 36th in the rankings this year. 2022 has seen the Serb get to the last four of the indoor hard court tournament held in Montpellier but didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 65.  He hasn't built on that though and came into this tournament having ony won three of his last nine matches. Two clay court events saw him lose in the last 64 in Monte Carlo and the last 16 in Belgrade to a player ranked outside the top 100. He's shown some better form in Rome and in the first round beat Frances Tiafoe in two sets, both decided by tie-breakers. Round two saw him beat sixth seeded Andrey Rublev. Sinner won the only previous meeting between the two, a hard court match in Sofia last year, winning in straight sets. This might be a bit closer but Sinner can get the win.
